Terms and Conditions

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• “Paid Facebook Group” means the private Facebook group named “The Influenced. Lounge” for all members.
• “Website” refers to the “Influenced Website”.
• “Directory” means the “Content Creator Profiles”.
• “Member” means a person or business that has joined the Influneced membership
• Any reference to “us”, “our” or “we” means Influenced.
• Any reference to “you” or “your” refers to a Member.
• By becoming a Member, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.

Our Role

Our role is to connect New Zealand based and Australian based business owners, consultants and entrepreneurs with New Zealand and Australian based Content Creators.

Membership Tiers

1. Business 12 month membership: $49 (+gst) per year
2. Creator Membership: $99 (+GST) per 6 months.
3. Creator Pro Membership: $149.00 (+GST) per year.

Membership Criteria

You must;

1. For businesses: Be practising NZ OR Australian business or in the start up phase.
2. For Creators: Be based in NZ or Australia
3. Be kind, respectful and supportive towards other members at all times.
4. Provide true, complete and accurate information.

Facebook Groups & Memberships

You must;

1. Not use the Facebook Groups to harass other members.
2. Not message other members of the Facebook groups without prior permission.
3. Not use the information provided in the Facebook groups for the purposes of unsolicited or unauthorised advertising.
4. Not make personal attacks towards members for any reason whatsoever. You are welcome to share an opposing opinion, but please do so with respect.
5. Not plagiarise any of the content shared in the Influenced facebook Groups, Influenced website, or other online content deemed to be in violation of intellectual property rights.
6. Keep what’s said in the Facebook Groups private and confidential (unless otherwise agreed upon). The private groups are a safe place for it’s Members to share ideas and get support.
7. Not share other Members’ opinions or sensitive situations with any other person outside of the groups.
8. Provide profile head shots of yourself to be listed in the Directory. Logos (or graphics) will not be accepted.
9. Join the Facebook Groups as your personal Facebook Profile. No Facebook Pages will be accepted.

Once we receive your Directory Listing request, we will endeavour to display your information as soon as possible.

If you sell or close down your business, it is your responsibility to notify Influenced to remove or update your listing. No refunds will be given.

Members agree to conduct themselves in a way that is respectful to other Members and no subject to derogatory treatment.

We reserve the right to;

1. Remove your information at any time, if your website or social media accounts become inactive (no refunds will be given);
2. Amend your listing for grammar and spelling corrections;
3. Change the amount of information and format of each listing at any level at any time and without prior notice (no refunds will be given); and
4. Refuse or cancel memberships of Members who are in breach of these Terms & Conditions or are deemed to be unsuitable to be a Member (no refunds will be given).

Examples of why members will be refused and/or removed from the Facebook Groups and VANNZ Membership;

• If you create your own influencer membership/directory in direct competition to the Influenced.
• If you are a creator or business owner whose team is made up of primarily overseas based employees
• If you plagiarise any of the content shared in the Influenced Facebook Groups, Influenced website, or other online content deemed to be in violation of intellectual property rights.
• If you display behavior not befitting a member of the Influenced community.

You may join the Facebook Groups if you:

• Are 18 years old or over;
• Live in New Zealand or Australia
• Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand or Australia
• Are practising as a Content Creator
• Are in the process of setting up your own content creator portfolio
• Are a business owner
• Are in the process of opening a business

You may become a Creator Member if you:

• Are 18 years old or over;
• Live in New Zealand, or Australia
• Are practising as a content creator
• Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand; and
• A personal LinkedIn account is recommended (although not a requirement).

Only one directory profile Member/ business is allowed but can create as many service listing as needed.

You may become a Luxe Creator if you:

• Are 18 years old or over;
• Live in New Zealand or Australia
• Are practising as content creator
• Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand;

Only one directory profile per Member/business is allowed but creators can create as many service listings as needed under their profile

You may become a Business Member if you:

• Are 18 years old or over;
• Live in New Zealand or Australia
• Are a trading business or in the start-up phase of opening a business
• Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand;
• Have an active website for customers;
• Are registered as a LTD company or Sole Trader;

Only one directory listing per Member/business is allowed.

Luxe Creator Member

Creators have the option to ‘upsize’ their membership in order to become a Luxe (Verified) Member at an additional cost of $60.00 (+GST) per/annum.

Luxe Creator Members will;

1. Receive a ‘Verified‘ badge to be displayed on their website, social media, portfolios, and other promotional platforms;
2. Appear as a ‘featured’ listed Member on the Directory;
3. Be eligible to be part of our Exclusive Matchmaking Service ( be the first to know of jobs being listed on the website)
4. Be able to submit articles for publishing on our website;
5. Be eligible to run Regional in-person ‘Meet Ups’; and
6. Be eligible to run ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions in the Facebook Group.
7. Be eligible to enter the NZ Content Creator Awards
8. Discounts on in person events.
9. Gifted a Welcome Luxe box every year filled with our favourite NZ and Au products.

Badges featured on Member’s websites/portfolios must linked back to the Influenced website.

Luxe members are required to pay the full amount of $149.00 (+GST) per annum.

Creator Members only have to pay the difference between what’s remaining of their current membership and the cost of a Luxe Membership.

We reserve the right to decline ‘Verified’ membership to any applicant who is deemed unsuitable for any reason. All decisions are final.

NZ Content Creators Awards

Luxe Members are eligible to enter the Awards (subject to the criteria of each individual award).

Creator Members looking to enter are required to upgrade to a Luxe Membership $60.00 (+GST) per annum.

Published Articles

Articles written and submitted by Luxe Members may be published on the website and shared on social media platforms.

Articles must be at least 500 words long and written specifically for the exclusive use of Influenced.

We reserve the right to amend your articles/blog posts for grammar, spelling corrections and other editing (including inaccuracies) at Influenced’s discretion.

You agree to give us full rights to use the articles, blog posts and other resources you submit for publication on the Website.

Payments

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and are exclusive of GST.

Memberships will roll-over automatically annually unless advised otherwise by the Member in writing to the VANNZ.

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership payments and renewals will be paid via the website to you and are payable prior to your listing going live. If you prefer an invoice instead and pay by direct banking-this can be arranged just email us at [email protected] but no listing will go live until the payment is made.

Membership payments are to be paid annually and payments are to be made by credit card or via bank transfer to a nominated bank account.

You may cancel your membership by emailing us at [email protected] subject: Cancel membership. No refunds will be given.

If your membership is revoked due to you breaching the Terms & Conditions of Influneced, no refunds will be given.

No refunds will be given if you change your mind after your membership has been processed and your directory listing is live.

No credits will be given if you choose to cancel your annual membership part-way through the year.

In the unlikely event of the Website and Directory being shut down, no refunds will be given.

The cost of membership is subject to increase. Members will be notified in writing 30 days prior to any increase taking affect.

Influneced. LTD is GST registered.

Website Availability

We make no guarantee to the availability of the Website.

We reserve the right to remove some or all of the pages on our website without notice at any given time.

Copyright

Directory information remains the property of the Members, however by displaying this information on a public website you are authorising the downloading and use of this information for individual use of the site visitor. You acknowledge that there are no copyright breaches occurring as a result of displaying your information, or part thereof, on this site and you will be liable for any actions taken against us as a result of any breach of copyright for information or images you have supplied.

Please read our Privacy Policy which outlines what information we gather and how it is used.

Disclaimer

Influenced does not guarantee the outcome of any advice given by any Member, and you use the advice given by Members at your own risk. Influenced disclaims all liability and responsibility from any reliance you place on the advice given by a member.

Influenced does not accept liability for the accuracy and validity of the contents published in articles and posts published by Members.

Amending these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at our discretion.
